Tests aren't working.

Hi ladies.
Last Tuesday late afternoon I got a positive test. Not expected, since we didn't have much sex this month. While we've been trying for almost 1.5 years already, with no result so far. Obviously happy, but at the same time so nervous. The next day I tested again, hoping the line would be darker. Unfortunately not. Then the insecurity hit immediately. Tested again yesterday. Seemed a tiny bit darker, but not convincingly clearer. Bought tests from the Action yesterday, hoping they'd be more positive. Unfortunately, even lighter than the Kruidvat ones.
I always had a 28-day cycle, but lately between 30 and 34 days. Last Tuesday was day 34, that's why I tested then. Assuming that would be my expected period. Based on the longest cycle, so not a super clear line yet. Would be 4 weeks and 3 days now.
This would be my 3rd pregnancy. I do believe I'm pregnant, but I really want to see the lines get darker. Now I'm just really scared it'll go wrong. Occasionally feel a bit like my period is coming. Fortunately no bleeding yet. Also no other symptoms.
1st pregnancy via IVF (with my ex-husband), 2nd spontaneous (little accident with my current husband, we had just started dating then), and now we've been trying for almost a year and a half. We would start another cycle next summer.
So so happy that we might avoid that. But so so scared it'll go wrong anyway.

Exciting... sometimes the daily difference isn't very noticeable. I hope they gain weight quickly!

If it's the tests on my profile, I think they're rising nicely. Check my profile to see how they're going up; it's almost the same.

    I do think I see a difference. Is there a 2-day gap?

You're totally pregnant, you know! Congratulations!!!

Congrats! I’d definitely stick to one brand for testing if you want to see a clear line and wait several days between tests. Otherwise, check the photo on my profile; sometimes I didn’t see any or almost no difference. I totally get the urge to test—you probably don’t believe it yet. Try testing again in a few days, and you’ll definitely see a line.

And yet I see a good increase in the Kruidvat tests, take another good look

You're really pregnant, congratulations. Make an appointment with the midwife for an ultrasound the tests look super good

You're definitely pregnant! My tests looked just like that around my ND. This could also be due to a later implantation.
    Congratulations!

    How are things now?

Hi, the thickness of the lines on the tests really doesn't mean anything.
I had a thick line with miscarriages and just a thin line with my daughter.
I'd make an appointment with the midwife. If you still want to look into tests (pity to waste the money), I'd test every day at the same time with the same test.

Tested again this morning with the Kruidvat test. Not lighter, but also not darker. They’re staying about the same. Not sure what to make of it.
I have my first ultrasound on April 21st at the hospital.

@mamavan2meiden that's just terrible, wow Is it true that this isn't your first miscarriage? Your name seems so familiar to me
