Hiding the belly

LotteGuest ·
Good morning everyone,

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant, and exactly a week ago I tested positive. It seems like my belly has been growing since then... I can barely hide it anymore. I don't have much loose clothing, so I'm wearing what I have all the time.

Is that normal, getting a belly so soon? Are any of you experiencing that too? And how do you hide it?

I have my first ultrasound on April 19th, but I'm wondering if I can still hide it for another two weeks...

I have this too. I read that these are just gas pains. I do have a few loose t-shirts. I've lost 11 kg in the past few months, so those shirts are coming in handy again..

I also read that these are the intestines (organs), but how long does this kind of thing last?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant now and I can already see it nicely on me, but I've heard that the more kids you have, the sooner you show. I still remember my first pregnancy—you couldn't see anything at all, and now there's already a little bump. I'm currently hiding it with loose blouses. If I wear dresses, you can see it more.

Want iemand die niet zwanger is, heeft nooit een opgezette buik door darmen, denk je izzy: niet omdat je zelf bezig bent met je zwangerschap, is iemand anders dat ook

Yes, these are the intestines. I have it too. One day I have a big belly, the next day it's gone again. With dresses, you notice it less, I think.

Indeed...your intestines! In the first trimester, space is being made, which means your organs are shifting around a bit to make room. So you might experience some intestinal discomfort throughout the first trimester...some people don't have it at all, while others deal with it for weeks. It varies for everyone.

At most, you can adjust your diet to try and reduce it. Eat small portions regularly, get enough fiber (whole grain products) and plenty of protein (quark, yogurt, milk, cheese, eggs). And above all.....drink lots of water.

    Good luck!
