Pregnant and thyroid problem

Hi everyone!
I'm 7 weeks pregnant and just had a lovely scan where the little heart was beating beautifully!
Everything was good size-wise too and all that!
Now my TSH (thyroid) was high at 4.1
I don't have any symptoms myself, does anyone have an idea if this is serious? It would probably be working too slowly... The OB said it's just a matter of pills to fix, but of course I was already worried about it...

Greetings!

    Nothing to worry about, probably!
TSH doesn't really say much about how your thyroid is functioning. TSH is the hormone that stimulates your thyroid to work. So the only way to test whether there's actually a problem or not is by measuring your free thyroxine (T4). That's the real indicator of your thyroid function
I had the opposite situation. My TSH was literally at 0, so my thyroid was working way too fast, but my free thyroxine levels remained consistently normal (they tested it regularly because of the TSH being at 0), so they never had to intervene with medication
I'm already 28 weeks pregnant without any issues

You need to keep testing it well. If the values aren't good, that can really affect your pregnancy and the baby's development.

Had the midwife and GP, and they both say not to worry! The values aren't abnormal yet. Need to have blood drawn again in 2 weeks and then we'll see...

Then it will be followed well, that's nice.

I was born without a thyroid! I had close contact with an internist during my pregnancy! And right now I'm giving my healthy son his bottle so everything is fine with the right amount of medication

Hey, I had that during my previous pregnancy, but it went back to normal on its own.
