Hi everyone,

It's probably been mentioned before, but better too much than too little :-) Are you participating in Mothers for Mothers? I started last weekend. It's not much effort and a lot of fun for someone who really wants to get pregnant but isn't having any luck. They pick up the donations discreetly every week, or you can drop them off yourself.
Right now, there are fewer pregnant women, and only about 30% of them participate. As a result, waiting times are long and can be up to 6 months.

I'm lucky enough to have gotten pregnant naturally, but I also know someone who would never have experienced the joy of a child without hCG. I can imagine that waiting a long time for treatment after trying for a year feels like an eternity!

Long story short, I just had to share this!

    I had already signed up too!!! Spread the word!!!! Everyone deserves the chance to be pregnant!

    Good that you're posting this again, Tessel! I signed up right away. I'm already in the phase where they're not sure if it's still worth it for me. But I can always give it a try. I've actually been doubting from the beginning, because I really wanted to do it, but we had a pretty tough start. But now that everything is going well here, I really want to help out! And honestly, it would be amazing if every woman just did it, since it's such a small effort and you can make couples so incredibly happy with it.

    I signed up too. Last time, unfortunately, I had to cancel again because it was the same week. I hesitated a bit but figured the sooner, the better.

    Hi Tessel,
    Definitely worth bringing to people's attention! I've been participating for 2 weeks myself and it's really no big deal.
    I also know people for whom it unfortunately isn't all that easy. It's fantastic that we can help these people achieve the same dream in this way.
    So to everyone who's hesitating or hasn't signed up yet, just go for it!

    Unfortunately, not much response here! I was really curious.
    I got a call back today and they were very happy with my registration. I'm probably too far along in my pregnancy for there to be much HCG left in my urine, but they still really want me to participate because there's a real shortage of pregnant women joining Moeders voor Moeders!
    On Thursday I have an appointment and I think they'll check various things. I'm really happy that I can participate and do something good this way!
    And I seriously hope there are more expectant mothers here who are willing to take the trouble to just fill in your details on moedersvoormoeders.nl! It's that simple. And as soon as possible, you'll get a call for an appointment and can really bring a lot of luck to other couples!
    So that's what I had to share!

    I’ve been participating since 6 weeks pregnant. It’s not a big deal at all! With my two daughters, I couldn’t join because I was still living in Germany back then. Unfortunately, there’s no “mothers for mothers” there. So now it’s extra fun to finally join for the last one!

    Hi Molly, exciting to see if you can join. My participation is a given. I'd say sign up earlier for any future pregnancy.

    Rj, I’ll definitely sign up earlier for the next pregnancy, but unfortunately, we spent weeks thinking my pregnancy wasn’t going well and therefore didn’t sign up. But according to this woman from Moeders voor Moeders, participation here is so low that every little bit helps, so I can pretty much guarantee I’ll be able to join.
    I’d just like to see this forum become a bit more popular! Especially since it’s such a small effort!

    And Molly, are you going to save up? Yeah, it's a shame there's so little interest. I'm also the only one in my circle, even though it's so simple. I guess you just have to pee then, right?

    Yes, I’m allowed until January 9th! It’s really quite manageable! Doesn’t even take much more time.
    Tessel, I think so too. Why wouldn’t you do it if you can make another couple so happy with it?

    I did participate in the first one, but with the second one, they didn't even contact me about it. It also kind of slipped by me since we were in the middle of moving and all at the time.

    Had 2e kerstdag een positieve test en meteen aangemeld !!!
    I got pregnant right after stopping the pill. And I think mothers helping mothers is a good initiative.
    I don't understand why some people hesitate to join in...

    With my first pregnancy, I signed up, so it felt pretty logical to do it again now. Especially considering that I have quite a few people in my circle who struggle to get pregnant. It's a small effort for me, hopefully with big positive consequences for someone else!

    I participated in Moeders voor Moeders from 6 to 16 weeks.
    It was a small effort for me and will be a big joy for many families :-)
