Bleeding at 11 weeks, twins

Hi,

Hope I'm posting this in the right place... 11 weeks 5 days pregnant with twins, everything was fine at the scan last week. At around 6:30 tonight I suddenly had a few drops of pink/light red blood when wiping. Got a bit startled, but then it seemed to stop. At 8 o'clock I got up from the couch and suddenly a lot of bright red, very thin blood started flowing down. It's mostly stopped now but whenever I move I feel small amounts of blood again. No pain, no clots. I'm naturally extremely worried... and it's Sunday evening. Do I need to call the GP or emergency care, or should I just wait and call the gynecologist tomorrow morning? I can't think logically anymore and am so scared something is wrong with one or both babies....

    Hi,

I actually lost a lot of light bleeding at 6 weeks during my previous pregnancy, without any real clots or anything. Everything was fine with me then, and I have a healthy daughter now who's 1.5 years old! It could also be that one baby stopped growing, but I'd still just call! You're far enough along to check if everything's okay; I had to wait until 7 weeks back then.

    Strength and good luck!

Thanks for the replies! The bleeding has pretty much stopped and there's no pain. I'll call the OB-GYN tomorrow morning. I'm worried, but not as panicked as before. It really felt like I was emptying out... pff, so scary! Hopefully it's okay, I read there's a 50% chance with bright red blood... let's hope for the best!

Call the OB right away. Seriously, don't wait.

Yeah, I also had absolutely no pain or cramps or anything! Just suddenly a load of bright red thin blood!
    Good luck
