Empty scan

Hi ladies,
Just a quick question because I’m really worried.
I’m pregnant!!!! According to Clearblue, it’s 2-3 weeks along. I had to get a forced ultrasound (from my ex, long story, I’ll spare you the details).
It was a transvaginal scan, but there was nothing—absolutely nothing visible. My uterus was completely empty.
I didn’t have any bleeding, so no miscarriage as far as I know.

Am I just very early, or did it go wrong without me even realizing it?

It could be that you're less pregnant than you think, or it might be an ectopic pregnancy...
What did the midwife say herself? Was blood drawn to check your HCG levels?

Strange story and I don't really believe any of it. I can't imagine there are midwives who do an ultrasound at that stage just because an ex demands it. Simply put, the reason is that the chance of seeing anything meaningful is small and it unnecessarily causes worry. Just wait and see and do another one at 8 weeks.

Normally, an ultrasound isn't done so early, but the problem for me was that I had no idea how far along I was already. It could be 2 weeks, but also already 12.

It went this way because the obstetrician is my ex-mother-in-law's sister.

They said it might be too early, but the test could also give a false result. I've done a total of 12 tests, all different brands, and all positive. Tomorrow I have to get my blood drawn.

So 2-3 weeks is max 5 weeks. Not longer, because on the ultrasound there's not much to see then. Except for a gestational sac.
