Hi Eva,

I don't have any experience with it, but I want to wish you all the best and I'm crossing my fingers that your little one settles in well!!

Best, Dani

    Hi Eva...

Oh my, what a fuss... that your little one won't just stay put!

We're due on Tuesday and we're really nervous! Can't tell you any more either!

    Love, Lynn

They only do an amniocentesis or CVS if you want it! They can't force you, and normally they only offer it if you're over 36 or have a higher risk (like if Down syndrome runs in the family, for example).
    Good luck with everything!

Hi there, our little one also wasn’t in the right position for the big ultrasound at 20 weeks. She kept turning away whenever they wanted to start measuring, and they couldn’t see the heart valves properly because she was constantly moving or her arms and legs were in the way. I had to go for a half-hour walk and drink a cola or fruit juice… Apparently, that helps them rotate the baby. And sure enough, our little one turned nicely, and they were able to continue with the ultrasound…

Maybe you could try that too?

And like mama3 said, they only do the CVS or amniocentesis if you agree to it—you’re not obligated to.

    Lots of love

I find it hard to believe they're going to do a chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis just because your little one isn't in the best position. They only do these tests if there's really a reason, as they're quite invasive and not without risks.
