    I have this too, really badly! I always got it around my period and now also during my pregnancy. I had it with my son too, but not as extreme. I'm almost 14 weeks now and still struggling with it. This happens because everything around your uterus gets softer, including your pelvis and tailbone. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but it's nice to know you're not alone.

    Pff, terrible. I got it around 20 weeks into my second pregnancy, and it lasted until 6 months after giving birth. Physio helped me a lot after the birth.

    @Marieke,
    Did you have this already at the beginning of your pregnancy? In the first few weeks?

    I mean Nienke

    Yeah, pretty quickly, from about 7 or 8 weeks. It’s also related to how busy I’ve been on a given day. It’s worse when I’ve worked compared to when I’ve had a day off.

    Thanks for the reply, Nienke. That explains why it’s so inconsistent for me too. When I’m active, the baby’s bottom is up. If I’m inactive? No discomfort. Does it actually become noticeable around week 8? I’ll wait a bit to see if it goes away on its own or gets worse.
