Hi everyone! I had a preliminary ultrasound done because we really wanted to start working on the nursery haha. But the sonographer really took her time before she dared to say anything. What do you guys think? Boy/girl or not visible because of the umbilical cord?

    Oh, I think I see three lines myself.
    So it's a girl!
    Can't wait to find out.

    The sonographer said after looking for a while that she thinks it's a boy. I'm really doubting her statement and the long search. Also because I think I see an umbilical cord and indeed 3 lines! Whatever the gender is, both is fantastic of course but I'm so curious. Better wait for the 20-week ultrasound haha

    But you can't go back for gender determination if they're not sure?

    She didn't say anything about that at the time. If it suddenly turns out to be a girl at the 20-week scan, I'll definitely ask for another ultrasound, yes
