Something against the belly

AnonymousGuest ·
Hi hi,

I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my first baby.
I'm being very careful. Maybe even overly cautious.
Yesterday I was brushing my hair and my arm shot out. The brush hit right against my belly. Maybe I'm being overly cautious again, but could this be harmful?

That can't hurt, your baby is protected in the womb and amniotic fluid. But I understand your concern. If you're in doubt, always give your doctor a call!
    Congratulations on your pregnancy

No, something like that can't do any harm.
I fell down the stairs during pregnancy, right onto my belly. Meanwhile, our baby was born healthy! So they're well protected.

Something like that can't hurt, but I understand why you're worried. At over 25 weeks, I was doing my grocery shopping and there was a hole in the floor where the shopping cart kept bumping into my belly. Now I have a healthy little girl of 21 months. Your little one is safely protected, luckily. Isn't our body amazing, huh? Now with pregnancy two, I'm definitely being more careful. My daughter thinks it's fun to ride on my belly like a pony, and she's so clumsy that I sometimes get startled, but my baby is now just as big as a sesame seed haha.
