    When is your due date?

    My period was last week.
I'm on the pill and didn't get my period during the last break week, but I had bleeding for 5 days in week 2 of the pack.
At first I thought it was breakthrough bleeding, but it felt a bit strange.
I had sex with my husband on Tuesday in week 3. So I really don't understand what's going on.

I was thinking about starting the pill again today, but I feel different than usual. That's why I took a test and saw a very faint line.

But if I calculate from the moment of possible conception, I technically can't test until next Sunday.
I'm holding off on the pill anyway and will test again in 2 days. If it's negative, I'll start the pill again. (I have an 11-month-old son, so it's not really planned.)

I think your body is just a bit off balance. Because you're on the pill, and your tests are (I think) negative. The chance of being pregnant is really small. The tests definitely aren't turning positive.

You could just wait a bit and take a new test over the Easter holidays. Otherwise, what Zusss says is true, your body is out of sync. I’d just restart the pill next week. Pay extra attention in the first few weeks if you’re having sex.

    Is this one better?

Thank you so much for the quick replies!
Yes, I'll test again in 2 days and if it's still negative, I'll just start the pill!
By the way, I was just about to throw it away and now I see this.
(Beyond the reading time, yes yes)
    So I'm curious. Haha.

You can see something now, but I'm afraid it's a faint line.

I think just like Zusss that your tests are negative because they always fall outside the time frame. I also don't really see a second line if you want my opinion. I also think it's just your body that's out of balance due to certain things. Maybe because you're not taking your pill properly? Forgot days? And then I have a personal question, if you don't mind. It seems like you'd be okay with becoming a mom, or am I just imagining that? If you really want this, why are you continuing with your pill? Good luck!!!

Okay, thank you so much, ladies, for your honest answers!

So I'm either imagining it or I really want it.

@sharishvr: Your question is not a problem at all.
I just had a son who is 11 months old, so I'm already a mom.
It's more that I want to know where I stand.
My heart really wants it, but my head knows it doesn't work out right now. I think my pill might also be too light, probably.
Thank you again for your responses.

With your first test, I thought it might be positive because I had the same experience—I was pregnant, but then I had a miscarriage. If I hadn’t tested two days later, I would’ve just thought I was getting my period.
But with your other tests, I have to reconsider my opinion. You could try again or simply get a blood test—they’ll see it in your blood!

Maybe it's best to just test with a Clearblue digital test.

Outside of the reading time, I would indeed consider them negative. I've done 20 rounds with all those rounds having false positive tests. A line often appears really after about 2 minutes. Now that I'm pregnant, my lines didn't appear after a minute. It happens so quickly once it starts measuring some hCG in your urine. It would be a pity if you're making yourself happy and it's not the case.

    Thanks for your reply!
Indeed, with my son, the test already showed positive 2 days before the due date. And it appeared within a minute.
Now it's like this: this morning a faint line appeared within 5 minutes without having to take it apart, so I think something is going on. It's wait-and-see, I guess. I'll test again on Sunday and then it should have developed more.

That's so different with each pregnancy! With my second (miscarriage at 5+ weeks), I only tested positive 3 days late, but this time, 2 days before my period, the line was already very visible. I wouldn't call it a "knaller" (strong positive), but still, it's a difference. I'm rooting for you, it's good that you see something. Unfortunately, right now (sorry) haha! You need to be patient until your hCG levels rise, so it's best to test again in 2 days; you'll probably see a thicker line then. Good luck, I'm cheering for you!

I'm curious to see what this turns into. I see something on a few Weldegelijk tests, but I'm not familiar with lines that suddenly appear after the reading time. Maybe buy the cheap ones from Sensi Test; they don't have evaporation lines.

    Good luck!

    Wow, that's exciting! ???

Hi everyone, here I am again..
Did a test this morning with my second pee.
And AGAIN a faint line within 5 minutes.
It's not getting stronger either. I just keep getting faint lines. It does become clearer when it dries, but still a very faint line.
I'm wondering if something else might be going on..
I read somewhere that you can test positive for other reasons too.
Does anyone have any idea what that could be?
I actually still need to get a smear test done at the doctor's. I had a Pap2 before the pregnancy with my son, after something was removed. Could that be the cause?
I thought I'd ask here first before calling the doctor.

I can see him. How far along are you in your NOD now? ;-)
  19. Ikke #39

Where do those tests come from? What brand is that?
  20. Dreamcatcher90 started this #40

The tests are from Action. The early ones.
And no idea when my ovulation was.
I officially got my period on April 14th. Took the pill then. But in the second week, I had breakthrough bleeding for 5 days (thought it was that, now think it was actually my period).
Somewhere between April 28th and May 1st.. (so I don't remember the exact day anymore)

The reason I tested so early is because I thought my period would come the week of May 12th. (Since I got my period on April 14th)
