HCG levels aren't rising much

Hi,

I found out I was pregnant on Monday, and on Monday night my hCG was at 1400. Today, this morning it was at 1700. The doctor wasn't quite sure what to make of it... I don't have any bleeding or severe cramps...
What do you all think? I'm really panicking

    If you do the math, there are barely 2 full days in between... but I'm afraid your values should have been a bit higher. It could go either way, but I'm worried.

    I'd say something went wrong. The values usually go up much faster.
    Of course I hope it all works out for you after all!!

    The values normally double every 48 hours or so. So, in my opinion, it's rising too slowly right now, as already mentioned above. When should you get another blood test?

    The OB did an internal ultrasound and said I'd only be 4 to 5 weeks along. There was a nice little gestational sac visible at the top of the uterus, and she said there was nothing to worry about.

    I can go back next Friday to take another look. But she thought the GP was too quick to say something, since it's still so early...
