Test is less clear than 3 days ago

Hi ladies,
This morning I was in a panic and very sad. Maybe a bit premature, but maybe relatable after a miscarriage. What's going on:
I've known for about 5 days that I'm pregnant. This was confirmed by the Test van Action and the Clear Blue test. But now I suddenly see that the line on the test hasn't become clearer. I did an early test (which kept getting clearer) and this morning (3 days late) I expected it to be much darker. To my shock, it was lighter. And my temperature was also a bit lower. Not drastic, but still... I'm so scared that I'll still get my period Has anyone else experienced this? Are there people where it turned out okay? Maybe the test became clearer a few days later... I have to say: I drank a lot of water at work yesterday. But this morning I tested with first morning urine.
Ugh, I hate this uncertainty so much

I had a faint line myself 4 days after ovulation. I'll try again tomorrow.

So I already had that light line. It kept getting a bit darker. The only problem is that today it was much lighter...

    Wait until tomorrow.

Gonna test again tomorrow for sure. But I've basically been doing that every day already.. Driving yourself crazy (I know)
But for those who've experienced a miscarriage, this might be relatable. You keep looking for reassurance that everything is still okay. While this might actually be counterproductive..

Maybe you could do a weeks indicator, it doesn't necessarily have to be with morning urine. I had 5 and 3 days before my expected period 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'. And 1 day after my expected period 'not pregnant'. So I had an early miscarriage.

    Hi Gwen,
The week indicator showed 1-2 weeks indeed 3 days ago. I find those tests quite expensive so I won't buy another one for now. I'm afraid my period will just continue If not, I'll test again on Sunday to see if it gets darker... If it's a miscarriage, I think I'll start bleeding within a week anyway... But I'm not seeing it very positively.

    Hi Iris,

I think this person is different. In my first pregnancy, my test was very light 5 days after my missed period, and I had a miscarriage. In my second pregnancy, the tests went well and everything looked fine until the 20-week scan (the baby had no kidneys, etc., so there was no chance of survival outside the womb). I gave birth 4 months ago at 21 weeks and was able to say goodbye afterward. I mean to say that things can always go wrong. I’ll try not to worry you too much even if the test gets lighter. Unfortunately, things can always go wrong, even with tests that keep going up. Try to stay strong, and I hope everything turns out okay for you

I'm done with a bad outcome
I found out I was pregnant unexpectedly, had a light but clear line. Tested again 3 days later, and the line was clearly lighter immediately panicked. The GP assistant reassured me, since she also had a bladder infection which can affect things. The next day I started bleeding and it turned into a miscarriage
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it ends well!

Did you test at the same times with the same test?

I don't think that's a good sign. Doesn't mean it has to be, though. Anything is possible. I find my tests are lighter in the morning than in the afternoon. That was quite a shock the first time too. I had 3 miscarriages in a row myself. Also a lot of bleeding during the first weeks. But things kept going well.

If you've been using the same tests and times, I'm afraid it's not looking good. Sending you lots of strength while you wait.

@Lina22: that's so intense what you've had to go through, seriously! I really feel for you.
As I read it now, it seems like most people miscarry after seeing lighter lines But better it happens now than later in the pregnancy. Unfortunately, I can't do much more than wait...

So what I already suspected: got my period What a crappy move????

    Strength!

Sending you lots of strength. I went through the same thing last month. Give yourself time to process it. It’s still a blow.

My cycle picked up again right from the day I got my period. Hope it works out for you too.
