Katie - I've given birth, ladies!!!

Ladies, I've really enjoyed corresponding with you all and have gotten so much out of this site. Last Monday, at 37 weeks and 5 days, I gave birth to our little boy, Ethan.
The birth was incredibly fast. I got contractions at 5 pm, and ten minutes later they were so intense that I went to the neighbors (my husband was at work). The neighbors then drove me to the hospital. At the main entrance, my husband came in, and the baby's head was already almost out. The fastest, most unexplainable birth ever. I completely missed the 9 cm dilation mark. At half past 4, I was still reading a book.
It's a super healthy, beautiful baby, and we've been home for 2 days already.

    You must have a really high pain threshold, I think so..

    Congratulations!!! And what a birth, wow! So glad it went so smoothly and that your husband was there in time! Did you have a lot of afterpains or was that manageable? Enjoy each other and hopefully we'll see you around on the forum
