Is that a 12-week ultrasound? Sorry, but I've never seen one that unclear at 12 weeks; usually, you can really see a baby and all the details. For the nub theory, you need a side view photo. -

Are you sure you're 12 weeks pregnant? This looks more like an 8/9 week ultrasound...
