From Baby to Toddler
Suddenly having trouble sleeping and with bottles
CaitlinGuest ·
Our little girl is now 4.5 months old. She had a fairly good sleep routine. 7 PM bath and bed, 12 AM bottle, then sleep until 7 AM.
But for the past 4 weeks, we've had a crying baby every time between 4 and 6 AM, and we can't get her back to sleep without a small bottle. We keep having to put the pacifier back in.
She gets 5 bottles of 180+6. She never finishes the 2 morning and afternoon bottles, leaving 40-60ml. She does finish the evening and the 12 AM bottle.
The bottle times are roughly: 7 AM, 11 AM, 3 PM, 7 PM, 12 AM.
If I give the 12 AM bottle earlier, she wakes up way too early in the night.
Dad giving her the bottle isn't an option; she doesn't finish it and wakes up even earlier. I really want to get rid of that little 5 AM bottle, but I can't seem to make it work. Especially since she now leaves more than half of her first morning bottle because of this. She also gets a few practice bites of veggies/fruit every day, usually in the afternoon.
Any tips? We're not getting much sleep at all????
