17 weeks and high heart rate

Hi there,

I'm now 17 weeks pregnant and have been having several moments during the day over the past few weeks where I don't feel well.
Suddenly I feel weak, like I'm going to faint, and lightheaded.
During my check-ups so far with the midwife, I've had low blood pressure (95/50). I thought my symptoms were coming from that... but on the moments when I don't feel well, I've measured my blood pressure and it's been fine (120/60).
My blood sugar check was also fine. To my surprise, I had a very high heart rate (130). Normally during my pregnancy it's always been quite low, around 60.
Could this be causing my symptoms? I'm not exerting myself extra on the moments when I feel bad. It can just suddenly start after working for an hour, or after working for 3 hours. It varies a lot.

Help!!

I'd just check with your midwife about your concern, just to be sure. I'm not really familiar with the medical side of things, and a heartbeat of 130 is indeed high, but that's also during pregnancy. I wouldn't dare say if that's what it's coming from, but I think it's more likely due to your low blood pressure. Just check with your midwife so you feel better. She can help you out, good luck!
