Hi everyone,
We did another IVF attempt last week after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I already had some mucus with bleeding beforehand, and the gynecologist said it could be due to an irritated lining. After the transfer, I had no bleeding for a day, but then I started losing mucus with blood again. Sometimes there's a little clump with it.
Does anyone have experience with this? The gynecologist told me not to focus too much on it and that we'd wait and see. I'm so scared after my previous miscarriage.

Hi Ann, sorry about that sour start. Those clumps don't sound great, but irritation from the injection can indeed cause some bleeding. Keep an eye on it and contact your midwife or emergency care if it gets serious. I also had clumps during an IVF cycle, and it was pure blood. But listen to your body and call the hotline if you're unsure. Good luck with the attempt.
