Heart-to-heart talk

Hi ladies.
I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant and have a doppler at home. I can't resist listening to it every now and then
So, at around 11 weeks, I could hear the heartbeat very softly, all the way on the left near my groin. It's not comparable to your own heartbeat because the baby's heart rate is usually around 140 By the way, that's also where the midwife had to press quite hard to get the baby in view (tilted uterus).
Second scan, didn't listen for the heartbeat, baby looked fine and was visible right from the middle.
Now I listened with the doppler again and heard the heartbeat very clearly, all the way on the left towards my groin, AND very clearly right in the middle. Is that normal for this stage? Hearing it so clearly in multiple spots?
You're bound to get a fright thinking there might be another baby hiding somewhere I can't hear anything on the right, by the way.

Around 14 weeks, your baby really swims all over the place. So you'll hear them in multiple spots. When you're further along, it's clearer from one spot.

I had that too. I used to listen sometimes, but not anymore because he moves so much. I did it to feel reassured, but I’d hear it on the left, then on the right, or in the middle.

That seems unlikely to me; little ones have plenty of room to swim around now. The 15-week ultrasound (early scan) showed our baby was super active. First with the head to the left, then to the right, and then suddenly upside down. Jumping around in all directions I think you could hear the baby from different angles, or maybe they were just moving around.

    Beebie is doing well anyway
