Unexpectedly pregnant

Hey ladies,
I'm new here. Hope I get a lot of replies because I'm really so worried.
Are there any ladies who got unexpectedly pregnant with diabetes?
My values weren't really that good at the beginning. Had a lot of highs while I didn't know I was pregnant. I only found out at 8 weeks. Now 10 weeks pregnant. I'm super happy about it but it makes me insecure.
Are there any ladies who also had high sugars in the beginning of their pregnancy and still had a healthy baby?
Thanks in advance for replying.

If you have FB, you can sign up for: Diabetes type 1 and desire for children/pregnant/mama. You can get a lot of info and support there.
I myself have dm 1 and am pregnant for the 4th time. All times sat too high at the beginning (disregulated by the hormones) but luckily got healthy babies

    Oh and congratulations of course!
I assume the internist/gynecologist is already up to date?

    Hey Pupke

I'm so glad to get your message. So I'm not the only one with high values. I read all sorts of things on Google, which really scared me. Things like abnormalities, etc.
I'm happy that you have healthy babies..

Yes, all the doctors are aware, luckily they all see everything coming along well

    And thanks for the congratulations.
    I'll check on FB.

    Greetings, Moedertje

    Thank you!
It's nice that they're all positive too! Luckily, there are many others who (unexpectedly) became pregnant with high values and where everything turned out fine. Wishing you lots of luck!
