The bleeding has stopped, but I still have mild cramping that radiates to my legs. I also don’t feel well at all. Nauseous, dizzy, sweating, headache, and tired. I called the midwife. She doesn’t (yet) think it’s an ectopic pregnancy. She thinks it’s either implantation or a miscarriage. She’s not too worried. This pregnancy isn’t ideal and doesn’t deserve a beauty prize, but a miscarriage isn’t what I want. By the way, the father did wish that on me..

I also have symptoms besides the bleeding. So it can still go well.

    Dear Lisa,
Hold on to your thoughts from when you weren’t 100% sure you were pregnant. This child was welcome, and you would raise him/her with love! Follow your own feelings! You’ll figure it out. I wish you lots of courage

Implantation should have already happened if you saw a line on a pregnancy test. That's when you start producing hCG. Bleeding can have various causes, including a miscarriage. If the tests aren't rising or are even decreasing, it's pretty much certain something went wrong after implantation. Don't test for a day or two. Then you can see if the line gets darker or stays lighter.

I think it's a miscarriage. I'm losing quite a bit of blood today, just like a period. There are also clots with mucus. I still had a regular test lying around that detects from 25hcg. So I did it anyway to check. Now there's a faint line visible on it, while this same test was blank yesterday. I don't understand anything. One time it's positive, then not, then positive again. By the way, I don't expect to still be pregnant. That's impossible with everything I'm losing now and the stomach pain.

You can only wait and see, you're still early in your pregnancy, right? I had bleeding during 3 out of my 4 pregnancies. One of them resulted in a miscarriage. So I dare not say anything for sure. I hope you get some certainty soon and find peace with whatever the outcome may be.

Yeah, according to my normal cycle it should be Monday, but I felt ovulation on a Saturday/Sunday. So it could very well be my period or a miscarriage. Clots and a lot of bright and dark blood isn't good. I think the tests are just confused.

Lisa, so sad. How did you wake up? Strength to you with everything!

I don't have many symptoms. It just brings a lot of uncertainty. Because the tests are still faintly positive, the midwife says it could go any way. It could indeed be a miscarriage, but it could also be a blighted ovum or a twin where one has disappeared. I'd rather her say it's over and done with, then I know where I stand. My gut feeling says it's just a miscarriage, but with answers like that, I start doubting again. I have terrible pain on the left side, radiating into my legs and feet. Like you've been shot and then get that numb feeling in your legs. And nauseous from the pain. But the midwife says I don't need to come in because they can't see anything anyway. Well, just wait and see...

Total bullshit!!! They can definitely tell if there's an implantation inside or outside the uterus! I was 4 weeks pregnant and it was in my fallopian tube... had emergency surgery. It was life-threatening. You can get internal bleeding if it's in your fallopian tube and bursts. Knock on wood and demand an ultrasound! Good luck!

Can't you go to your GP with your worries? Maybe get your blood drawn? I've never been a fan of blood tests for hCG or early ultrasounds. But I completely understand your uncertainty. Tests staying faint is not a good sign, right? Even if you lost one of twins, the hCG should still rise from the other baby. I had an ultrasound at week 6 with my midwife. There was no baby anymore. In the next pregnancy, also at week 6 due to bleeding, there was a baby visible but the heartbeat was too early to see. The next week it was clearer. It's tough, but follow your gut.

Lisa, I’ve been following your story a bit from the sidelines. You must be so insecure, girl.
If you’re still having so much pain and light tests, I’d push to go to the hospital. I don’t want to scare you at all, but it sounds like a BZ.
I’ve had 2 myself by now and it can really be life-threatening if you’re not in time.
Otherwise, call your GP. Explain it and say that you’re really worried because you have so much pain.
Strength with everything, girl! Keep us updated?

Has anyone got an idea how it ended up for Lisa?
