Bleeding and still pregnant?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone recognize this and can you share how it went for you?

For about a week now I've been feeling different. (Sore, swollen breasts, nausea, emotional). I had already hoped I might be pregnant, and indeed, I didn't get my period. I took 2 tests and both times I saw a very faint line.

Since Sunday, though, the joy has turned into uncertainty. Because since Sunday I've been bleeding. Bright red, thin blood with occasionally a tiny bit of mucus. No clots or anything like that. But still, up until today, a good pad's worth of blood. No abdominal pain or menstrual cramps otherwise. (Only on Sunday evening when it started, a tiny bit of cramping, but nothing comparable to period pain).

I just got home from work and couldn't help myself from taking another test. Again, a very faint line. (It wasn't concentrated urine either, because I had already been to the toilet at work and drank a lot).

Now I'm so unsure. Does anyone recognize this and did they end up still being pregnant, or does this sound like it's going to miscarry? I'd actually like to take one more test tomorrow morning and see if the line is clearer than last week with concentrated urine. But it's quite an emotional rollercoaster. Anyone here with experience?

Thanks in advance.

Get a blood test done at the doctor's then you're sure.

Hey Emma, indeed. Go to your GP and get a blood test. You'll know more a day later.
I didn't have bright red blood, but brown discharge for 2 days. Not enough for a tampon/pad, but there were some spots on the pad. When I told my GP, she immediately reassured me that it was old implantation bleeding. She also told me that during her own pregnancy she bled for 2 weeks straight and everything was fine. Your uterus gets more blood flow. So it can definitely still be okay. But to be sure, it's best to just get your blood tested. If you do it again a few days later and your HCG levels rise nicely, then you don't need to worry about it anymore.
