Had some weird symptoms last week. Lots of white discharge, sometimes feeling nauseous, lower back pain, and stabbing pains in my lower belly... I tested 4 days before my expected period yesterday and it was negative. Could it be something else?

    Not everyone tests positive this early. You'll have to be patient until Nod and the ultrasound. And symptoms don't always tell the whole story, unfortunately. Good luck with the wait. Hopefully, you'll test positive in a few days.

    Yeah, it's really annoying to wait. Some people drive themselves crazy by testing before they should and then testing negative afterward. With my first pregnancy, I only tested positive on the day of my missed period. Now I'm pregnant with the second one, and I tested positive 5 days before my missed period. With the first pregnancy, my hCG level at 4 weeks and 3 days was 154, and now at 4 weeks and 3 days, it's over 1200.

    How old were you when you had your first? I'm 22 now... and how long did it take for you to get pregnant anyway? Because I'm not really trying and just letting things happen naturally, but I've had some vague symptoms for a few days now that I haven't had before, so I started thinking about it. My IUD was removed 5 weeks ago, and since then we've had unprotected sex. I did get my period for 7 days straight after the removal, but after that it was just unprotected, hence why I'm wondering.

    Hey, I was 23 when I got pregnant after trying for 1.5 years. 24 when I gave birth to my son. Then I had an IUD inserted until my son was 1 year old. After that, they removed it. Then I got pregnant again after the IUD was removed. I'm now 25, and will be 26 when I give birth to the second one.

    Oh, so the first one took a long time. Was there a reason for that? Glad it went faster with the second one!

    I think we were too focused on it. The month we took a break before the insemination, I got pregnant.

    Okay, yeah, I'm not really dealing with it. I see it coming. I just find my symptoms a bit strange, I'm also really tired, etc.

    I had that too this pregnancy. Nausea, cramps, and a lot of discharge. Maybe just wait and see; you might still test positive.

    I also tested negative at first and positive 2 days later so yeah, wait a bit longer. I had an IUD too and got pregnant after 2 months. I just turned 23 myself. I did track my cycle with an app though. Good luck!!
