17 and pregnant

Hi everyone!
I just found out that I'm pregnant. I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 22. We've been together for over two years now and we even have our own little place. So here's the deal: last Saturday, April 27th, I was supposed to get my period. But it didn't come. Since I was feeling nauseous and had no appetite, I decided to take a test this morning. And it was positive! I'm really happy but also completely shocked. Last month, in March, my period was also late. I took two tests then, but both were negative. Are there other young women who got pregnant? How did you tell your boyfriend? And your parents and family etc.? I'd love to hear your stories????

Love, Sarah

Congratulations, and especially.. how nice that you don't live at home in this situation anymore! It'll save a lot of hassle with telling people about your pregnancy! I'd personally tell your boyfriend that you're pregnant however you want, and just tell the others super enthusiastically.. then people won't have much to say.. or well, I mean, you'll probably get some comments anyway, but it helps if people see that you're really super happy. I think it's best to do it this way. Lots of love and super young mom. It'll definitely be tough with your job or studies, but you'll be a young mom when your kid is 16!
