Hi everyone.

I just found out that I'm pregnant with our first baby. It's really nerve-wracking because I had a miscarriage before. I just had a cup of tea from the Kruidvat "mom moment" but it turns out it contains 5% shepherd's purse. After investigation, it appears that this causes the uterus to contract. I won't drink it again, but can I still miscarry because of that one cup?

    Anyone who can reassure me?

Doesn't sound right to me. A healthy pregnancy can have that.

The uterus also contracts, for example during an orgasm, and that can't do any harm either.

Thank you, crumbs! It's really stupid that they sell it as pregnancy tea.

Maybe you should drink it after your husband has taken his medicine? Then it’s fine if it contracts... it’s probably meant to help. It really can’t be harmful, dear!
