Gender is close for twins

It was quite an adventure to find out the gender of our twins. The NIPT test (2x boys) gave a different result than the ultrasound at 16 and 20 weeks (boy + girl).
Since we found almost no info about this online, I want to share our experience here.
NIPT testing for (dizygotic) twins is indeed possible and according to the 2 gynecologists we spoke with, it is indeed accurate. This is in contrast to what is stated on the internet.
In our case, something went wrong with the interpretation of the results. We were originally worried. The gynecologist said something like male genes and a female body. That's not what you want to hear. But it turned out to be seriously exaggerated. The NIPT results were reviewed again by the genetics department and it turned out to confirm that it was a boy and a girl.
So no panic if this happens to you ????

We went to the OB-GYN yesterday for the NIPT test.
She explained that if it's two girls, they can tell us for sure.
But if there's at least one boy, they can't determine whether it's a girl & boy or boy & boy.
So that was pretty clearly explained.
We'll get the results next week, and if it's still unclear, we'll wait for the ultrasound...
