taking parental leave flexibly

Hi,

The topic title says it all. My partner wants to take parental leave because I haven't been feeling well since my daughter was born 8 months ago. I'm now being referred to a psychologist and it's likely a postpartum depression diagnosis. But my question is: My partner wants to take parental leave: every week one afternoon and once a month a full day. Or 3 weeks one afternoon and 1 week one day. But how does this work administratively? Is that even possible? Or would it be better to agree on, for example, 20 hours per month to be taken between the 1st and last day of the month so that the salary remains the same every month. I'd love to hear your opinions or experiences.

Wow, more than 400 views now, but no one knows anything more?

It depends on your employer. Some are very flexible in this regard, while others are not. So it's best to discuss it with HR
You are entitled to 1 day per week anyway.

That has to be discussed with the employer. Just state your preference and hope for the best. He’s entitled to it anyway.
