Help! I just got the news that my 40-year-old sister is unexpectedly pregnant. She already let me know she’d like to ask me to be the godmother. But I’d rather decline since I’m already the godmother of a friend’s little boy. How should I tell her? I really don’t want to hurt her.

Ah, it actually sounds really nice to be the godmother of your sister's child.
What's holding you back from being a godmother to another child?
Honestly, I think you'd have very little hassle with it. Except that they'll love you extra much later on because you were an important person at birthdays, Sinterklaas, Christmas, maybe. It's also not like you're automatically responsible for taking care of the child in case of an accident involving the parents.
