Essiegio
Good morning girls, I had my first ultrasound on Monday. I should be almost 7 weeks pregnant now, but the ultrasound showed 5 weeks. We only saw a gestational sac. They said either it's too early or something isn't right. Any other girls who have gone through this? I have to come back in 2 weeks.

As your DH already said, either you're too early or something's not right.. It could be that your egg was fertilized later and that's why you had a later implantation..
I haven't experienced it myself but I've seen both good and not-so-good news in similar situations. Good luck and I hope for good news for you both

Essiegio here's another one! She was quite positive, which was reassuring, of course. I was supposed to be 7w3d on Monday, but she said this isn't 6 weeks, it really matches a 5-week pregnancy everything looked good, she said. Placenta formation with nutrients, gestational sac with amniotic fluid, and yolk sac. I have to go back in 2 weeks, around November 12th. I did call her regarding the stress, but they said this happens quite often and as long as you don't have severe cramps or bright red blood, I don't need to worry it's still nerve-wracking.

Aah no, San, you're also in this little boat, it's really not nice. I hope you get a good ultrasound soon I'm cheering for both of you, ladies

San1989 yes, it's definitely stressful, especially with the thought that you still have 2 weeks to wait. I have to come back on the 13th, hope everything is okay and with you too.

Essiegio yes I hope so too. We have to stay hopeful.

I’m going in today with the same story for the 2nd check-up. So I’ll find out soon if it all turns out okay!

    Hi ladies,

Bright red bleeding, so it's probably going badly. I did a CB test yesterday that said 3+ so I thought my hCG was holding steady, but unfortunately not. I'll call the OB on Monday because of the weekend, and maybe I'll have to leave you all

Do you also have pain besides the bright red loss? I hope not. Stay strong, take your rest
  9. San1989 #10

Lotus no, just mild cramps and the cyst in my ovary is bothering me. Nothing more. It was getting less anyway, so it wasn't that bad thanks

Think about your cyst, it's naturally very vascular right now.. Can't you call now.. Is there no GP you can reach out to?
  11. San1989 #12

Lotus I'm walking by the hospital. I'll take a quick look and if not, I'll call the doctor's office later.

Oh no San, it could indeed be from your cyst... I'd also call today. I hope everything stays okay. Thinking of you x
  13. San1989 #14

Thank you, ladies for now there's no more red blood, just some brown still. We're keeping our fingers crossed
  14. Stef #15

San, I also really bled during my pregnancy and my 5-month-old baby is lying next to me now. Heeeeeeel many women lose blood during pregnancy. Let me know later, x

Stef thanks for your kind words. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and otherwise I hope to hold a nice test in my hands soon. A small comfort is that I can definitely get pregnant.

How are you doing now? Hope everything is going well.

    And a little heart? ???
  18. San1989 #19

Essiegio still having some brown discharge here. The bright red was pretty minimal though. Still have symptoms and no huge cramps in my belly, but I'm not sure. People around me say don't stress, don't worry about those 2 weeks back either. But easy to say. Still exciting

I'm waiting for the empty gestational sac to be expelled. No signs of an impending miscarriage yet, but I do need to pass it...
