Is sleeping on your back at 13 weeks really bad for the baby?

I only dared to sleep on my back at first. After a while, I got used to it, and now I just sleep however feels comfortable. I'm a tummy sleeper, so I lay on my stomach as long as I could.
Now I sometimes lie half on my tummy (not fully anymore, haha), on my left, right, or back! As long as you don't feel any pain, it's fine, right?
Right now, I only feel the baby kicking really hard, so she'll probably be okay with it. She can just adjust for now until she can lie comfortably on her own later on

My mom also said it wasn't good. I got stomach pain when I slept or lay on my back. I'm also a stomach sleeper. I slept on my stomach until my delivery. I didn't really have a baby bump, so it was fine for me.
You can sleep or lie on your back as long as you don't get any pain. As soon as you have pain, change positions.
Some can handle it and others can't. Congratulations again.

Thank you.. I was also a tummy sleeper.. And now I often lie on my side, slightly angled on my stomach..

It always feels uncomfortable like that.

I read somewhere that sleeping on your back can compress the veins and that’s not good.
But actually, no position feels right????.. Anyway, sometimes my belly hurts from lying down.

In the third trimester, it's not good to sleep on your back due to a higher risk of stillbirth. I used to lie on my back a lot, but now I have a pillow between my legs and against my back. It does help a bit, though!

I’m lying all sorts of ways, hehe. Except on my stomach. Sometimes I roll onto my back for a bit because lying on my side hurts so much. Then I roll back onto my side. But they say it’s better to lie on your left side. But I can’t stay in one position all night long, you know!

I also sleep on my back and on my left side, but I'm always used to sleeping on my back.

Using a nursing pillow under your belly and between your legs is also really nice in the third trimester!
