Implantation bleeding, does anyone else experience this?

Had a positive pregnancy test last Friday. The test indicated I was 2-3 weeks pregnant. Very happy, of course.
However, from Monday last week until last Friday (the day I tested positive), I've had a tiny bit of brown blood/brown discharge every day. It was only visible when wiping.
The midwife says this was most likely implantation bleeding, but you never know for sure.
Have any of you ladies experienced implantation bleeding? If so, what did it look like, how long did it last, and did everything turn out well?

I had this in mind at 6 weeks pregnant. It lasted for 2 days for me, it was just drops/dots but still I was startled by it. I went straight to the gynecologist to check if everything was still okay. I then got a first early ultrasound where we could already see a beating heart. Meanwhile, we are almost 24 weeks pregnant.
