Restless baby

Hi hi!
I have a few questions and hope to get answers about my 2-week-old baby:
Does your baby just sleep during the day on their bed or in the crib?
What could grunts and flailing arms mean when they're sleeping? We've noticed that his poop has been harder since Saturday, so we started preparing his bottle with Bar Le Duc to help with colic, which seemed to work.

2 weeks old, oh how lovely. Still so sweet, small, and innocent.

My daughter did sleep in the crib during the day as long as things were calm at home. When it was busy, I’d bring her to her room to sleep.

Grunting and flailing arms before bedtime can mean he’s tired. Some babies get a bit restless then, which isn’t a big deal. If he ends up waking himself up often because of those flailing arms, you might consider swaddling. Just make sure you get good instructions on how to do it properly, e.g., from the health center.

Does he drink well and always finish his bottle? Then you could also try adding a bit more water than what’s indicated on the packages. Hard poop can become a bit softer with more fluids in the body.
At 2 weeks, the little tummies aren’t fully developed yet, so colic can occur from time to time.
Make sure your baby burps well after drinking and try to prevent him from swallowing too much air while feeding.
Air in the belly often causes colic too. During colic, you can gently massage his tummy in a clockwise motion or make bicycling movements with his legs. And there are even more tips online you can try. Just see what works for you

    Thanks!
We've just started giving him food for colics on the midwife's recommendation. We borrowed a Puckababy from someone last night to see how it works, and the man has been sleeping peacefully ever since! The midwife doesn't think much of it, but I've read a lot of good reviews about it. Have you had experience with it?
By the way, the little one drinks about 7 or 8 bottles of around 100ml a day. People say it's too much, but he keeps coming back because he's hungry! Can I just let him do that?
