Suddenly biting their nails

Abi
Hi,
My 10-month-old son has suddenly started sucking on his fingers and alternates this with thumb-sucking. He does it all day long.
Up until 6 months, he had a pacifier, which he refused at one point.
Does anyone have tips to stop him from sucking on his fingers/thumbs? I’d hate for him to get used to it, since it’s hard to break the habit.

Best, Abi

There's a nail polish for sale that gives you a bad taste in your mouth, you can try that! I don't know the name right now, but if you explain to the drugstore or pharmacy (or Google) what it's for, they'll get it.

Kruidvat sells those too, they're good. My sister did that too. Byte-x
