My experience; inducing miscarriage with medication

Hi ladies,
I'm not sure where to put this. I've read a lot of horror stories about inducing a miscarriage with medication. So I decided to go for a D&C... until I saw the gynecologist who told me there are risks involved with that too. So I went with medication after all. Today I took the 4 internal tablets. After an hour I got cramps in my uterus, and an hour later the bleeding started. A lot of clots came out, and whenever I got a cramp, I just went to the toilet. It felt like I had to have a big bowel movement, but then clots came out. This has really been a piece of cake for me. I even called the hospital to ask... was this it??? Can't be... I'm bringing in another 4 pills tomorrow just to be safe. I'm really surprised because I was so scared of it, but it felt like a period. Nothing more. I'm curious if I'll lose anything again tomorrow after taking the pills.
Hopefully, I have some ladies here who are facing the same choice and feel reassured by this. I'm glad it went this way!

By the way, losing so many clots felt a bit scary, like the big message was coming out the wrong hole. Sorry, I can't think of a better way to say it haha.

I also had a miscarriage after medication last year. They told me there were risks involved with a curettage. It went much better for me than expected, exactly as you described. It was basically a heavy period. I took the other two tablets on the second day so everything would be gone. It took about two weeks for the bleeding to completely stop. And after three months, I was pregnant again.

That's nice to hear!! I want to get pregnant again as soon as possible I guess the fear was quite big after you got pregnant again?

I only remember that I found it really unpleasant. And I think I also had a fairly long period. If the information had been better and they had told me it could be quite painful, I wouldn't have done it.
