Brown discharge

Hi everyone
I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and have had brown discharge twice since last week. It happens when I wipe and then again later.
I went for an extra check-up last week for this, and luckily nothing was found.
The midwife said this sometimes happens and isn't harmful.
However, I also had constipation both times, so it's probably related to that.
Still, I can't get it out of my head and it's making me really insecure.
Are there other pregnant women who have experienced this too?

Yes, I had bleeding and brown discharge at 23 weeks and 4 days.
I even went to the midwife urgently in the evening and was referred to the hospital. Everything was turned upside down and it turned out nothing was wrong, probably just a blood vessel was hit due to the growth of the uterus!
I wouldn't worry too much about it, you've been checked by the midwife and she really knows what she's talking about. Take it easy, rest is the best advice and don't overthink it, I know it's hard, I was also extremely upset when it happened to me, but worrying won't help, and that's not good for your little one!!

    thanks for your reply.
Yeah, it really does scare you, right. Glad it was nothing for you too! It's still scary when you get sent in and then you're left in suspense. But at the same time, it's so nice to know for sure that everything is okay then.
I definitely trust my midwife and she went through everything and checked last week, so that was reassuring already. Called again today but didn't need to come in.
What you say about trying to relax, but I'm so unsure that it doesn't work out very well for me. I find it hard to enjoy the pregnancy and I'm really upset about that, even after all the good ultrasounds I still fear something might go wrong.
Reading that others have it (had it) too and it doesn't do any harm does put me a bit more at ease.
