2nd trimester
Nausea during pregnancy
HoiGuest ·
Hi everyone,
I'm 25 weeks pregnant now and have had a ringing in my ear for almost 2 months when I want to go to sleep. During the day I don't really have any trouble with it. I've been using nasal spray for a long time because the GP saw fluid behind the eardrum, but today I went back and it turned out the fluid was gone. She said it might still be due to the Eustachian tube. They've told me that a few times already. She said it could also be caused by high blood pressure and asked how the checks were at the specialist. I said my blood pressure was always good every time. Then she said that was fine. She didn't measure it either. She advised me to rest more during the day so the ringing becomes less at night. Now I read an article on this site that tinnitus can also be related to pregnancy. Who has had this or has trouble with it? I notice the ringing more when I'm stressed. The GP said it's not permanent. I do have more stress because I stopped taking antidepressants before I got pregnant.
