1st trimester

My partner and I were over the moon when we held a positive pregnancy test in our hands, first try and right away. At 7.5 weeks we had our first ultrasound. We couldn't wait to see our baby, unfortunately we were told things weren't going well. We only saw a gestational sac with a faint white line in it. We had to wait for a miscarriage. After a few days we decided we wanted to go for medication, because we were going on holiday a week later. We were then referred to the hospital, where another new ultrasound was done and 8 pills were prescribed. Around 23:00 I took the four pills, and the next day I could take another four. There could be some bleeding, with some cramps and hopefully the gestational sac, they said. At 01:30 the cramps started, I couldn't lie down anymore, I started walking. Shortly after I had to vomit and got diarrhea. The cramps became more and more intense, I kept vomiting and couldn't keep any water down. The diarrhea kept going, I almost fainted. My partner called the midwife, they had never experienced this before, they were very kind and supportive. I didn't know if I should lie down, walk, vomit or whatever. By morning 05:00 a very small amount of blood started, which increased more and more in the morning. These were contractions that became more and more intense. When we called the hospital they said this happens more often, and we just had to wait and take another four pills. I couldn't handle that feeling again, and didn't know what to do. In the end we decided to wait a bit, and then the gestational sac came out quite unexpectedly around 14:00. I caught it in a small pot, so we could really see it was a sac. I was relieved, but also found it intense to see it like that.
I'm posting this mainly so that medication really varies from person to person, and that it's really better not to immediately take the second round of four pills. I'm very curious when ovulation will start again? And about experiences of others, and getting pregnant again after a miscarriage. Love
