Dear mama,

I'm now 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Since yesterday, I've had brown discharge when wiping after peeing. I slept well last night, and in the morning I had some light bleeding. It was more this afternoon. But I don't have any cramps or stomach pain. My breasts aren't tender anymore either. I'm really worried.

Has any mom here had a similar situation and everything turned out okay?

    Hi, I've read something like this before. It can go either way. Many women experience a kind of bleeding in the early stages of their pregnancy. That would be normal. Keep an eye on it and see if it doesn't get too much. And if it does, give your midwife a call so you know for sure. Strength during this uncertain time!

    It has gotten worse, though. But now I know where I stand. It’s so painful, but I still have one who’s 16 months old running around. She keeps me strong.

    Aww, that’s really tough. Still, do get checked by your gynecologist. I went through this with my daughter. I had a heavy bleed at 7 weeks. It turned out I was pregnant with identical twins. One miscarried and the other stayed.
    And you can only be sure your uterus is completely empty if it’s a miscarriage. Strength.
