Feeling the uterus??

Heyhey, future moms..
I read that you can feel your uterus in the early stages of pregnancy. I’ve done a few tests this past week, all very faint but positive. I went to feel my belly and got quite startled. I only need to go 4 or 5 centimeters in and I feel a kind of bump (!?) Is that normal? It doesn’t feel super soft; it feels a bit like the tip of your nose. This wasn’t there before, I’m sure of it, haha. I can go around it with my finger. Does anyone else experience this? Or feel it now?

It sounds like you're feeling your cervix. I can't reach it right now but yes, it's firm (since I assume you're not in your fertile window, when it feels softer). What made you jump?

Haha, well, I was startled because it felt really weird. I thought, "Huh, that doesn't belong there." Hahaha

Hihi, now I think he's just fine, really, if I read it like this Later on, a midwife can also feel your cervix to see how things are going with the labor, and with an internal ultrasound they can measure and, based on the length, roughly say if labor is coming soon.. P.S. If you're going to check, make sure to have clean hands to prevent infection.
