1 red warm little hand

Hi ladies.
My 3.5-month-old son occasionally has one red, warm hand. After about an hour, I notice it slowly receding towards the fingers, and then it completely goes away. He doesn't seem to be in pain, uses his hand normally, and has no loss of strength. The GP and the doctor at the CB didn't make much of it. They did say it was probably nothing serious, but I still got a referral to the pediatrician, and we're going on April 6th. Does anyone have an idea what this could be? Just to hear if this is a known issue. I can't really find much about it online.
I've attached a photo.
Greetings, Mar.

When I see him like this, I think it's inflamed: red, warm (looks swollen). But that doesn't fit with the rest of the symptoms. I think the doctor said to wait and see! I don't recognize it; my son's hands are blue in the morning after sleeping, and the other side is fine!

    Hi Mar,
My almost 2-month-old daughter has the same thing.
What did you find out about this? What did the doctor say?
I hope to hear from you!

    Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what the cause of this swollen little hand was? My son has it too... the pediatrician said to follow up on this...

    Best,

    B
