Belly growth

Is it true that if you're expecting a boy, your belly shows earlier and is bigger than if you're expecting a girl? That with a girl, it shows later and the belly is smaller?

I don't really believe in that. It just varies from person to person. Every woman carries differently too. And I think it also depends on your build.
A friend of mine didn't realize she was pregnant until 30 weeks. Up until that point, there really wasn't anything visible on her. She already had a somewhat curvy figure and she was into sports all the time. She just didn't lose weight. :'
With me, it became visible at 15 weeks. I'm very slender and never really gain weight. And that little belly was noticeable pretty quickly.
I have to admit that according to many people, my belly is still quite modest now, but I think people just forgot how slim I was before the pregnancy haha.
