Fainting regularly

Hi ladies,
I'm 13 weeks pregnant now and regularly (read: almost every day) suffer from dizziness and fainting spells. I've already tried eating at regular times, eating saltier, taking extra iron... without any result. Are there any other ladies who have this problem and have any tips for me? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, really weird. Do you also have low blood pressure? I mainly get it when I go from a cold place to a warm room. Today I really had to leave the Kruidvat within 5 minutes because I was already breaking out in sweat.
The midwife said it was normal because your blood vessels widen during pregnancy and then you might feel faint. I'm also busy eating more salty stuff.
Take salty licorice with you everywhere from now on.
    Good luck!

Here’s another fainting type I sometimes really need to lie down flat to avoid feeling worse. I notice that I need to take it easy in the mornings after breakfast and often after eating too. Luckily, I can do that.
Today my systolic blood pressure was 50, so it was definitely that low blood pressure causing it. But better too low than too high, right!

Yeah, I also suffer from low blood pressure. I often get dizzy and even faint at work. I teach programming and stand in computer classrooms that quickly get too warm with around 30 running computers and a heating system you can't lower yourself. I keep a bag of salty chips and crackers handy to eat when needed, but it really happens quite regularly. Fortunately, I have considerate students. If this keeps up, I should get my blood drawn to check for deficiencies.

It comes in waves. So like three or four days a week, and when it happens, it’s multiple times a day. I also notice it happens more often when I have long workdays.
The annoying thing is that I’m a teacher (higher and adult education). Sometimes I work long hours from 10am to 10pm with only half an hour break total, and on those days I suffer a lot. I try to rest in between (during practice sessions with my legs slightly elevated), but that’s not always possible because students naturally have questions, and then I have to walk around again. The classrooms are also very warm because the computers are running non-stop .
I also have to drive at least an hour to get to work. Once I felt sick in the car (luckily without further consequences), but since then I haven’t felt at ease with it. Public transport isn’t an option either; it would take me at least 3 hours, and I wouldn’t make it home in the evening.
I really want to keep working, I love my job so much, but sometimes I just don’t see it anymore. It always takes a while before I’m fully back on my feet. I can feel it coming up now. I sit down, put my head down, and eat some salty chips or something, but usually I still end up leaving. I’ll try putting a cold cloth on my neck, maybe that will help! Thanks!
