Pain after orgasm

Good evening ladies,
I don't know if I'm pregnant or not, my period is due on Feb 1st. So it could be.
Last night I experienced something really strange, something I've never had before.
Right after masturbating, during which I also had an orgasm, I went to pee and got a massive pain in my lower abdomen.
It felt very intense, so bad that I almost cried and curled up in bed. It took almost an hour for the intensity to subside. The pain came in waves, very quickly one after another.
Walking, sitting, lying down, coughing—everything hurt.
Does anyone recognize this?

    Maybe it was a bit too rough? Sounds like an (acute) bladder infection. Or a bruise on the urethra from a slightly hard, unlucky bump.

    Hey, it looks like your ovulation! I always had severe pain too... I even went to the ER once because of it... Fluid is released into your abdominal cavity and that can cause pain! If that's what it is, you timed it perfectly

    I think I've had that 3 times, very painful and scary. Never looked into where it came from, and haven't had it for 4 years now. So I recognize it, but have no idea what it is! But for me, it was 100% unrelated to pregnancy.

    I’ve had this before. When I was still on the pill.
    I always took my pill continuously until I got a breakthrough bleed and then took my break week.
    This made my uterine lining very thin, and if you then have an orgasm, your uterus contracts, and if your lining is too thin, it causes a lot of pain.
    Because of this, I always knew that whenever an orgasm hurt so much (exactly as you describe it), I needed to take my break week.
    I’m not saying it’s the same for you; I don’t know. But for me, that was the reason. (This was confirmed by my doctor.)
    Since I stopped taking the pill, I’ve never had this issue again.

    When I was just pregnant, I had this. It lasted until about 8 weeks. Hellish pains that subsided after about half an hour. When you're pregnant, everything is more blood-flowed, so it could be related to that. When can you test?

    @stef, yes, 1 time.. the next day I had some stomach ache but no more intense feeling.
    @leeuwtje, officially Monday. But my partner is going abroad for work, so I'll test on Friday morning, then we're both at home. The tests from the pharmacy aren't that expensive anyway, so if that's negative, I can always test again on Monday or Tuesday.

    Femke... Because of that pain, I recognized my pregnancy experience... Could it really be??
