Did you start your pill when you were on your period? I think you wouldn't be protected right away otherwise...
  2. Miepje #22

Correct, according to the doctor it's the same as the pill, but use extra protection for the first 7 days.
Sorry, 21 instead of 23 days for the IUD removal.
  3. MB87 #23

Ooohhh yes, indeed. This is so weird!
  4. Stef #24

Miepje, it's clearly positive... you're definitely not the first one to get pregnant while on the pill... can I congratulate you? Because if you were taking the pill, it was probably not intended... this was my test with my first son... also not immediately with the control line
  5. Miepje #25

That was definitely not my intention.
    I'm a bit shaken, a bit overwhelmed.
  6. Stef #26

Can I believe that... did you not use extra protection then (I read it now that you just started your pill somewhere in your cycle) because indeed, then it's not reliable... but now... usually you start on the first day of your cycle... good luck and strength xxx

Oh my, I can imagine you're startled by this. But as Stef says... he's really positive. Such a test only turns positive due to the hCG hormone... and that's only produced during pregnancy, as you might know.
Is it still desired, the baby? Sorry for the maybe somewhat direct question...
  8. Miepje #28

Yes, it was done safely for 7 days as the doctor also indicated, so that’s why I’m extra startled. I’ll contact the doctor tomorrow.
Or did I already have a fertilized egg during the removal because with Mirena you still ovulate.
  9. Stef #29

And how are you all doing, ladies? Has anyone else tested yet? Greetings
  10. Miepje #30

    Hi Stef,
I tested again yesterday and it was blank.
  11. MB87 #31

Is that photo on your profile your latest test? I really do see a faint line... or is it just me!?
  12. Miepje #32

    No, that's my second test.
A couple of hours after the other positive one.
The third test was blank and I also got brown spotting, which I'm still having.
  13. MB87 #33

Okay... well, I'd keep an eye on it! Brown bleeding doesn't necessarily mean anything...
    Are you already overdue?
  14. Miepje #34

No, but I think it's off now, it's gone from dark to completely white.
And I'm not sure if I'm overdue.
It's my first pack of the pill, I've been in the break since Thursday.
  15. MB87 #35

Okay, so it's a wait-and-see when you get your period..
    Exciting )
  16. Miepje #36

Maybe a really weird question, but can brown discharge cause a test to come back negative?
  17. Stef #37

I think you're not pregnant anymore. No, that can't be... I think you should go to a midwife and get a blood test... then you'll know for sure... good luck xxx P.S. normally a test runs out and doesn't stop...
  18. anoniem Guest #38

I had that kind of test too after 5 minutes, but from Action. It's positive. If it's good, the line appears faster on the next test.
  19. Miepje #39

That's what I thought too, Stef.
He's indeed going from quite a stripe to blank.
    Thanks for your reply!

    Hi ladies,
I submitted a urine sample yesterday afternoon, but unfortunately, I haven't heard back yet... I also had blood drawn, so let's see what that brings!
