Hi ladies, maybe you can give me a little hope! Last Sunday I tested positive..2 days later I took another test and that was positive too! Now, last Friday morning I had some brown discharge after having sex and the midwife told me not to worry too much because a lot of women experience this during pregnancy. In the afternoon I suddenly started bleeding brownish which then turned into brown-red! It wasn't a lot. I contacted the midwife and she said I had a 50% chance that everything would be fine and a 50% chance that it wouldn't! Because I had a miscarriage 2.5 years ago, I know roughly what to expect. But back to my question.. I started bleeding on Friday and I'm still bleeding (until today) but it's not a lot.. much, much less than when I'm on my period and I don't have any stomach pain or anything like that! Just a nauseous feeling from the heavy coughing fits! Otherwise I feel good and the symptoms are still there just like they were before the bleeding! On Tuesday I'll be 6 weeks pregnant and I want to call the midwife on Wednesday to see if I can get an ultrasound! Do you maybe know what it could be?

P.S. I haven't lost anything in terms of gestational sac or fetus!

    Same here! I don't want to give you false hope, but I was 5 weeks pregnant then and now I'm 16, everything's going perfectly. It could be something serious, but it could also just be a blood vessel or something else. Anyway, I was told to come in as soon as possible for an ultrasound, and they can usually see if everything's okay. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

    I get it! At least it's nice to know there's someone who understands what I'm going through. I hope I can get things sorted out soon after Wednesday, since I only have my first official ultrasound on January 18th with the OB-GYN.

    Here's a little update..
    I got in touch with the midwife this morning! She totally understood my concern and I'm allowed to come in tonight at 8:45 PM for an ultrasound. Hopefully we'll know something by then.. so excitingdddd

    Hope the day flies by hahah

    Went to the midwife last night at 8:45 PM! And unfortunately, there was nothing (anymore) to see Having blood tests today to check the hCG level. But I don't understand it at all. Still feeling really nauseous and having sore boobs now too???? So now we'll just wait for the blood test results. Will keep you posted.

    That’s exactly what I thought too. Because if you calculate from the first day of your last period, I’d be 6.1 weeks pregnant now! But if you take those “2 extra” weeks off, you end up at 4! So maybe I did have an implantation bleed and it’s just too early to see anything yet! But I don’t want to drive myself crazy either. There’s nothing else to do but wait and maybe discuss it with my GP.

    Yeah, let's wait and see what the GP says. I had my first scan at 12 weeks and then internally, because it was still early. So you never know.

    Just got a call with the results of the blood test! The hCG hormone is still very low. This unfortunately means I had a miscarriage
    I'm going to give it some time now and hopefully I can bring good news soon.

    Momo, so sorry, sweetheart! But you do know that you can get pregnant quickly after a miscarriage, so hopefully you'll be pregnant again soon and this time it'll stick
