Diaper leaks at night

Hi,
Who has the golden tip? At night, my son's diaper always leaks, so annoying for him!
This is what we do:
Bigger diaper. Tried other brands. One on and another one on backwards over it. Loose romper. No pants due to the band around the belly. Plastic overalls. Fold the top edge inward.
None of this had any effect. Just now I put a plastic pull-up on him, curious to see but other tips are welcome.
The guy seems to sleep a bit on his side and by the way, the diaper isn't too full, because I changed the one from last night and it was still almost dry. You can imagine how wet he gets! He always sleeps from six to six and changing him at 11 PM seems pointless because he hasn't peed much then.
By the way, the leakage is mainly on the left side at the top, near the closure.
Thanks in advance for the response, also on behalf of my 10-month-old son

Kruitvat diapers fit better here. It's a bit of trial and error to see which brand works best for your baby's bottom.

And those special crawling diapers from Pampers? Because he also lies on his side.

Thanks for your replies! I personally think another brand/size doesn't necessarily make a difference because it leaks from the side. From 3am onwards I had leakage again, so I put a diaper on crosswise and then another diaper over that (he had 3 diapers on at once) and with that he was dry this morning. The second diaper, the crosswise one, felt a bit damp so it did absorb some. I'm curious to see if that works for the whole night tonight!
Anonymous 22, I haven't heard of that yet, I'll look into it if this doesn't work!

For us, it really did help to go up a diaper size.
    Maybe try the Pampers pants.
    Good luck!

Hahaha I have to laugh at the topic title but with a baby in diapers it's a serious problem for mom

I did indeed put on one size bigger and a different brand for the night, and now it still happens now and then. But every night is really irritating. And I heard by chance recently that when your baby drinks before going to sleep, it comes out in the first hours of their sleep, which means they leak halfway through the night. So that parent stopped giving drinks before bedtime to prevent that. But no idea if that works or if it's the solution for your little one.

Hihi, it's annoying for me but also for my little guy, he wakes up too early, all sad and crying. I can tell from his cry if he's wet..
He does indeed drink a lot during the day, I read about a mom who stopped giving anything after 4 PM. But since the diaper can still get fuller, I want to keep that as a last resort and see how the full diaper gets wet. As long as it keeps going! I find it kind of sad though.

Yes! 2 nights dry. I don't know if it's the diaper worn crosswise or the Kruidvat 4+ one, but I'm sticking with this setup for now

Aww, that's nice! I once had a leak because my man didn't put the diaper on properly, hehe, but it was really annoying waking up to everything soaked. But I'd still try the crawl diaper for a bit if it works, it saves a lot of diapers at night. By the way, does he leak during the day too or only at night?

This afternoon during his nap, he leaked a bit because I hadn't put on the diaper crosswise. You can just put the crosswise diaper back on the next morning, so he only uses one diaper per night. For now, I'll put the diaper over it, if that works! By the way, he was sleeping on his side/stomach. I really think it has to do with his changed sleeping position!
