Nausea

Hi,
I'm curious if there are more ladies who can barely tolerate eating at the beginning of pregnancy? I throw up every evening...and can only handle a little during the day...I quickly get stomachaches and cramps. I'm looking forward to your experiences and tips.

For me, I managed to mostly suppress the nausea by eating small amounts every 2 or 3 hours. There were also days when only toast stayed down, and a few days when eating mostly cucumber helped.

Here’s another one with this "problem" – I also don’t keep my main meals down at all and I’m noticing I drink very little.
Drinking makes me feel extra nauseous.
I really find it tough! How far along are you?

I was vomiting every day, 1-2 times, during the first three months. At first it was 4-5 times a day, but since that really wasn't healthy, I got medication that helped a bit.

Do some research to see if there's food that makes you feel less or even worse, and eat what you can (even if it's not that healthy, especially when you really can't keep much down). You can also ask the HA for advice. I took Suprimal, which did help a bit, and it's available without a prescription. But if you figure out when and what you eat to feel better, that's naturally nicer/better.

    Strength!
