Got a positive test very quickly

Hi,
I'm new here and have a question. I'm a mom of 2 boys and now pregnant with the 3rd.
I stopped the pill on October 8th and had sex on October 19th and 21st. But today I already got a positive test, which seems pretty fast to me.
Does anyone have experience with this? Could it be that it's a twin pregnancy, so you have more hormones and test positive faster?

Greetings

Congratulations! It's great that you didn't have to wait. It's not that fast; according to the statistics, you could have tested positive from November 4th onwards, with an ovulation date of October 22nd. Some people just produce more/sooner than others, and there are quite large margins in terms of when it happens. Wishing you a happy pregnancy!

Height of the hCG, hCG is missing in the sentence.

    First of all, congratulations!
That it's positive so quickly doesn't say anything about whether it's one or more babies; it's more about the hCG level. In some women, it rises faster than in others. Wishing you a very healthy pregnancy!

Oh, now I see it. You're Michelle, the one whose partner didn't want the baby. Now I understand your 'worry' that there might be two. Let's hope not, that would be so sad for them!
    When is your first ultrasound?

I got pregnant right away in both of my pregnancies. First time there was 1, and now again 1. I have a friend with twins, and she tested negative for 2 months and yet she was pregnant with twins, so yeah... I don't think you can determine whether it's 1 or 2 based on how fast you test or the hCG levels... My first one was a clear positive right at test time, and the second one only became a clear positive at the right time, so yeah...

    Hi sweetheart,
That's right, it is me. I have my first ultrasound on December 1st, can't wait for it.
