Anyone have experience with a gestational sac at 6 weeks?

Hi everyone, I had an ultrasound yesterday. I'm 6 weeks pregnant now, but they only saw a gestational sac. I had a clear positive test 5 days before. I'm worried it might not go well. Has anyone experienced this before? I don't have another ultrasound until Tuesday, but it's been on my mind a lot, which is why I'm asking here.

Love,

I totally get your anxiety. Probably you were still a bit too early for a visible little embryo! I once read that even when women knew exactly how far along they were after an embryo transfer, they were still less advanced—every baby develops in its own way. That’s why they wait until the dating scan later on!

And here’s a really nice experience: at 6 weeks, a gestational sac (and an embryo I couldn’t see, but the doctor could, without a heartbeat yet), and at 8 weeks, two embryos with beating hearts. And yes, I survived those two weeks of tension, so you’ll get through it too, okay! I’m curious but also have high hopes for you. Hopefully, you’re feeling a bit more reassured now!

Hi sweetheart, thank you so much for your message—it really reassures me. I’m so anxious, especially since my hCG levels were rising so quickly; I had the feeling that everything was okay. With a level of around 4.4, the Clearblue test showed 3+, and I just took another test yesterday which still shows 3+. I know I shouldn’t rely on these tests, but the ultrasound didn’t show any bleeding or anything either. I’ll sleep a few more nights and then hopefully I’ll know a bit more.

    Love,

But with you, there were 2 Congrats! Did you feel like there were 2?

Thank you! No, it really was a surprise! Can't Clearblue only show 3+? I was also nervous about the ultrasound, but I'm trying to put it out of my mind a bit—you can't do anything about it.. Unfortunately!
I just took a test before the 8-week ultrasound too, just because I was also afraid that something wasn't right. But it doesn't help!
    Was the gestational sac visible?

No, that's right, it's just a matter of waiting unfortunately I have to be patient but I also didn't see a yolk sac I thought I saw something in the left corner but it disappeared again and then she said no there's nothing there so yeah who am I to question I also have a tilted uterus I don't know if that has to do with it that she couldn't see much I just find it strange

And no, Clearblue can't show more than 3+.

I have no experience with this at all, but I wanted to send you lots of strength! That uncertainty sounds terrible...
Lots of luck, I'm crossing my fingers for a beautiful ultrasound with a healthy little heart on Tuesday!

They didn't see that second sac either, so it doesn't mean anything yet. It's all quite suspenseful! Let me know how your ultrasound went. Have a great weekend anyway!

Hey Shaatje, I didn't get a notification that you had replied. I'm glad to hear from you again and that everything is going well

Here everything is okay except for my pains, nausea, and dizziness.
I have an ultrasound today. Super exciting!

Won't you be in the group anymore?
    Greetings

@stef yes, I did. I took a little distance from it because if I got too caught up in it, I just got sicker. Haha how was your ultrasound?
