Hi everyone!
I don't usually post much, but I really want to share this with you all and hear your thoughts/advice.
My mother and I never really had a good relationship. My parents are divorced and I've always been close to my dad.
Now, various things have happened (my mother, for example, doesn't care for my half-brother, arranges meetings with strange men via Tinder, and when I confront her about this, she just gets angry with me.
Besides that, she can't stand my partner. She got so angry at him, after he was fed up with my mother constantly taking her frustrations out on me, that she even threatened to come over and beat him up.
I'm now 19 weeks pregnant and I haven't heard anything from her for 3 months. No message at all, nothing.
Now I get a message;
Hi, can you come by next week, I want to talk to you.
I'm not looking forward to this at all, maybe you have tips/experiences?
Thanks!!
Greetings Annelies

    Is it an idea to arrange to meet with someone else along? If you are pregnant, you often feel vulnerable and you can keep everything within bounds that way. Because you ask the question, I think there is something in you that does want to arrange a meeting, and I think you should give your mother a chance too. But I would keep someone along who you know well if that gives you a comfortable feeling. Good luck and who knows, maybe the contact will recover a little bit!
